Installing Garageband Jam Packs On Lion Sargodha

Because my MacBook doesn’t have an external drive, I’m installing via remote disc from an old MacBook (circa 2010). The problem is, the install gets 2 minutes away from completion and just stops there saying ‘writing files, 2 minutes remaining’. Is there any other way to install the old Jam Pack content, or do I need to change anything in this process?
