Ibm Thinkpad Type 2611 Manual High School
Hello there, I've tried to upgrade the RAM of my IBM ThinkPad R31 (Type 2656). It came with 128 and I've purchased 2 x 512.
Before servicing an IBM. Ibm Thinkpad Type 2611 Manual Arts Therapist. By observing the above. Extreme care when measuring high voltages. IBM Thinkpad Type 2611-412 advice? Hi there, I just (re)found an old IBM Thinkpad from 1999 that I'm interested in. A manual on Lenovo's website seems.
However the machine refuses to boot up with the new RAM. The 512 RAM's specs are: • 144-pin unbuffered DIMM • Density: LOW • PC133 133FSB • 2.5 Volts • 6 Layer unbuffered • Non ECC As far as I can tell from the R31 manual this RAM should work. Also, I visited crucial.com and my new RAM answers all their questions with regards to my machine.
The only difference between the 512 and 128 is height - the 128 is about 5mm higher. What does this mean in terms of the type of RAM it is? If anyone could help out that would be great. Thanks, costa k. There is not a lot of costa K's in this world.

Newwer ram sticks have newer smaller memory ICs and don't need to be as big as older ones. I checked online and found this: it seems the voltage on the ram ibm supports is 3.3 volts. Sometimes they do things like that for good reason, sometimes purely to make sure you buy their ram at a higher premium. In either case i think that is your problem right there.
